Lawrence Keller is an associate with DCLBV in its California office in Bakersfield. His primary focus is workers’ compensation defense.

Before joining DCLBV, Mr. Keller worked as an associate attorney in both civil litigation and workers’ compensation. On the civil law side, Mr. Keller drafted a broad range of pleadings and successfully argued motions in Superior Court. In addition, he has represented clients in hearings at workers’ compensation boards throughout southern California and in scores of depositions.

Mr. Keller was born and raised in Washington, DC, before moving to California in 1999. He attended the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio where he completed an Independent Study thesis on the historical influence of the Bauhaus School of Art on arts education. Mr. Keller completed his Juris Doctor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California.

While at Loyola Law School, Mr. Keller engaged in a broad range of legal research from international banking regulation to California’s unique anti-SLAPP motions. While earning his Juris Doctor, Mr. Keller volunteered for the Los Angeles Domestic Violence Clinic at Los Angeles Superior Court.

Mr. Keller is a member of the State Bar of California. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central District of California and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He remains an avid fan of the arts, football, baseball and minor league hockey.
